Wendy Hayden Sadler spent her early life in South Africa, Singapore, Aden, Malta, Libya and other places where her RAF father was posted. Continuing an itinerant lifestyle as an adult, she became an air stewardess, a secretary on the Duke of Bedford's staff and a catwalk model. Whilst flying round the world she met her army officer husband in Hong Kong, married him a whirlwind eighteen days later and stayed in the then colony long enough to raise three children. She studied screenwriting at the UCLA in Los Angeles and has written two romantic novels and two plays for the theatre. |
